This is not a prank: teen sensation Justin Bieber has been tapped to take over Punk'd for Ashton Kutcher. The 16-year-old pop star will host the reboot of the popular MTV reality series, which ended in 2007 after Kutcher, the then-host, creator and executive producer, pulled the plug.
Kutcher would remain on the project as an executive producer through his company Katalyst. Bieber will likely take part in a few pranks early on before reverting to hosting duties, according to Deadline Hollywood. Bieber and Kutcher each have over 5 million followers on Twitter, making them the number five and number three most followed personalities.
