Justin Bieber Rules At AMAs
We're living in a nation of Beliebers. Justin Bieber went four-for-four at the American Music Awards Sunday night, including snagging a win in the top category, Artist of the Year.
Bieber, 16, also took home the awards for Pop/Rock Album, Pop/Rock Male Artist and Breakthrough Artist. "I can't stop smiling; this is amazing," he said after beating out Eminem and Usher. "Truly I don't know how this is possible because I've been singing Eminem since I was three and Usher is my mentor. So this is big." Last year's winner, Taylor Swift, took home the prize for Female Country Artist, saying "I just want to thank the fans."
The night included performances from winners Rihanna and the Black Eyed Peas, as well as by non-nominees like Kid Rock, Diddy and Pink. Ke$ha and Katy Perry both turned in spectacular shows with pyrotechnics, light-beam eyes and packs of dancers. –AMY LEE
