Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted together on Friday in Texas, where they had breakfast together and later visited a florist.
Bieber and Gomez, the on-again-off-again young pop star couple, appear to be warming up again. Both singers were in McAllen, Tex., and hit up local joint Don Pepe’s, according to E! News. While checking out the flowers at LA Imports, the pair were seen embracing.
Gomez will eventually be heading to Hildalgo State Farm arena, where she’ll be giving her first concert show since she checked herself into rehab for unknown reasons back in January. In December, Gomez canceled the Australia leg of her tour due to exhaustion. It’s unknown why the 21-year-old singer turned to an in-patient treatment program.
Prior to meeting up with his old flame, Bieber had been in Miami to appear at a deposition for a lawsuit in which a paparazzo alleges Bieber sent his bodyguard to rough him up. During questioning for the civil case, a lawyer grilled Bieber about Gomez – whether or not she was present during the alleged fight with the pap.
Bieber’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, objected to the line of questioning, but the lawyer opted to pursue it. After the lawyer repeatedly brought Lopez into the discussion, Bieber got up to leave, reported TMZ. “Don’t ask me about her,” Bieber yelled on his way out, livid. “Do no ask me about her!”
Bieber eventually returned to the room, replying to most questions with snarky answers but giving a straight “no” when asked if he had a prescription for Xanax. Soon after he was done, it appears he was on a flight to see Gomez, who he called the “most elegant princess in the world” earlier this week on Instagram.
