Take note, Santa: one of Sasha Obama's Christmas wishes has already come true. The president's daughter got a hug from Justin Bieber at at Washington D.C.’s "Christmas In Washington 2011," an event held at the National Building Museum on Sunday. Bieber, 17, gave Sasha a hug before performing his holiday hit, "Mistletoe."
In addition to Bieber, other celebrities including Jennifer Hudson and Cee Lo Green were on hand to celebrate with President Barack Obama and his family, the Huffington Post reports. Late night comedian Conan O'Brien hosted the star-studded holiday gathering, which had an underlying theme of a “season to celebrate miracles.”
Bieber gave his fans a treat by dishing about his backstage interactions with the president, via his Twitter page. “Great night! President Obama is one cool Prez. … He told me he was ‘chillin.’ #PresidentialSWAG,” he tweeted.
Hudson, who sang “Do You Hear What I Hear" at the event, has performed in front of the First Family in the past. “I don’t know how many times I’ve sang for the president, but every time feels like the first time," she said.
