Justin Bieber and John Legend showed off their assets on Instagram this week, both sharing NSFW nude photos, but for very different reasons.

Justin Bieber Shares Naked Photo On Instagram

Bieber appeared naked in a photo posted to his Instagram account on Monday, July 6. The photo, taken of his back, has Bieber’s bare butt on full display. In the photo, Bieber stands on the deck of a boat, pointing off into the distance, without any clothes on. “Look,” he wrote. (Update 8/7/2015: It appears that Bieber has since deleted the photo.)

Bieber was just having fun showing off for his Instagram followers, as evidenced by a cheecky Tweet he sent to Jackée Harry, the comedian and actress, after she complimented his nude pic. “@JackeeHarry wait…I was naked in that pic?” Bieber responded.

Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Challenge Instagram Nudity Policies

Legend shared a similar nude pic via his wife, Chrissy Teigen’s Instagram page. Unlike Bieber, Legend’s nude photo had a purpose: to protest Instagram’s controversial nudity policy.

Teigen has been challenging Instagram and their nudity policy for a few weeks, after the photo sharing site took down a topless photo she posted that exposed one nipple. Instagram has a habit of censoring photos of female nudity, specifically nipples.

While Teigen hasn’t all out declared war on Instagram’s policies, she clearly aimed to expose their hypocrisy by captioning her photo of Legend with a simple “@Instagram.”
