Justin Bieber Investigated For Battery Of Neighbor

Justin Bieber was accused by his neighbor of battery after the two engaged in an argument outside the pop star’s Los Angeles home. Police are currently investigating the accusation.

Bieber was making a quick stop back to the United States, before embarking on the next leg of his European Believe tour in Munich. Early Tuesday morning a call went into the Los Angeles County Police Department, alleging that Bieber had committed misdemeanor battery.

"Nobody was injured, nobody was arrested and there are no charges. People say stuff, and we have to find out if it's real,” L.A. County Sheriff’s Department’s Steve Whitmore told the New York Daily News. “We're going to talk to everybody involved. Everybody is going to cooperate."

There have been mixed reports as to why the male neighbor was disgruntled. He allegedly came to Bieber’s doorstep to complain about a string of raucous parties that were held at the house in his absence, a member of the singer’s security detail told the Daily News. But it was Bieber’s reckless driving throughout the neighborhood that served as the cause for the confrontation, the neighbor’s wife told KTLA.

"He was speeding through the neighborhood, driving erratically, like he was on a racetrack," the wife said. "We have families here. No sidewalks. This behavior is totally unacceptable.

"My husband went up to him to have a civil conversation," the woman added. "But apparently Justin Bieber had a hard time being told to slow down. He needs to know he's not invincible and he can't continue to be surrounded by enablers."

If Bieber thought he’d get a break from the negative press in his short return home, he was mistaken. This recent battery allegation will be added onto his scandalized late arrival to a show in London, his verbal lashing of paparazzi and his canceled tour stop in Portugal. Those who started suggesting rehab or a break for the young pop star just got another story to bolster their proposals.

There have been no arrests, charges or injuries reported in the alleged battery incident," Whitman told E! News. “Everyone that we will need to talk to, we will talk to.”
