Justin Bieber Files $20 Million Lawsuit Against 2 Twitter Users Who Accused Him Of Sexual Assault

Justin Bieber has filed a $20 million defamation lawsuit against two Twitter users who accused the singer of sexually assaulting them, which are claims Bieber has denied.

The lawsuit, which was filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, identifies the accusers by their Twitter handles and names: Kadi (@ItsnotKadi) and Danielle (@danielleglvn). In total, Bieber is seeking $10 million from each accuser, for a total of $20 million. The lawsuit alleges that these users “fraudulently schemed to seek attention and fame by maliciously posting despicable, blatantly false, fabricated, defamatory accusations.”

The lawsuit alleges that the accusations were “factually impossible, and disproven both by indisputable documentary evidence and the individuals’ own admissions.”

“It is abundantly clear that these two individuals are trying to capitalize on the climate of fear permeating the entertainment industry, Hollywood and corporate America, whereby it is open season for anyone to make any claim (no matter how vile, unsupported, and provably false) about anyone without consequence,” the lawsuit said.

It went on to say, “However, Bieber will not stand idly by while Defendants attempt to get attention and fame for themselves, by recklessly spreading malicious lies that he engaged in egregious criminal conduct by assaulting Defendants, and Bieber is therefore bringing this defamation/libel action to clear his name and to set the record straight.”

Danielle alleged that Bieber assaulted her after he invited her and her friends back to his room at the Four Seasons following a small performance for SXSW in Austin, Texas in 2014. The tweet and the account have been taken down but screen shots of her accusation are still floating around Twitter.

The lawsuit stated that Bieber could not have committed the assault Danielle alleged because he had not been staying at the Four Seasons. Bieber tweeted out his response to the allegation, providing receipts of reservations from Airbnb and Westin made by Mike Lowery, which he said was his alias at the time.

The lawsuit goes on to argue that Bieber did not commit the assault alleged by Kadi either, and paints her as a “superfan” who was seeking fame from her accusation. Bieber’s team claimed that her profile’s pinned tweet from December 2018, which says “I wanna star in a netflix series! twitter do ur thing,” shows that she is seeking fame. And the suit alleged that other past tweets from her account show that she never met Bieber in 2015: “I swear if we don’t meet I’ll find you and f— you @justinbieber #JustinForMMVA,” and “@justinbieber … you’re so cute I love You!!! I’ll pay you to rape me, ok?”

Kadi stood by her accusation, tweeting on June 22, ““Pls say you’re lying” NO ! I won’t say any lie. I stand by my words. It happened and I won’t let you beliebers bully me into denying it. PS: I’m NOT scared of any lawsuits.”
