Justin Bieber and Kevin Hart hit the tennis court together at the 11th annual Desert Smash in La Quinta, Calif., to raise money for Cancer for College.
Bieber partnered with Canadian tennis pro Genie Bouchard in the game against Hart, while Hart’s Walk Hard costar Will Ferrell served as the line judge. While the two stars traded serves, Hart couldn’t help but throw some disses Bieber’s way. “Oh Justin, come on with the prima donna stuff. ‘Oh my name is Justin Bieber and I need a water break,’” Hart yelled across the court. “Justin, you can hit it, all you gotta do is… Believe,” he added, referencing the singer’s third studio album.
Putting Hart in his place, Ferrell kept to the pun theme, chiming in, “Kev, you have the heart of a champion. It’s not a big heart. It’s a tiny, little, 5’3’’ heart.”
Following the match, Hart took to Instagram with a picture of himself alongside Bieber, Ferrell and Bouchard.
“Had a blast at the “Desert Smash” charity event. We played tennis for a great cause today,” he wrote. “We helped lots of cancer survivors make college a reality. So glad that I could be apart of this.#MyTennisGameWasOnPoint#WillFerrellGotHurtBeforeWeEvenGotOnTheTennisCourt #MyServeWasClockedAt135MPH#ImGoingToHaveMyRacquetFramed.”
“Ready for the roast @kevinhart4real,” Bieber captioned a picture of the two on the court, looking ahead to his Comedy Central Host that the comic will be attending.
