Last night Justin Bieber, 17, made fans go wild with a guest appearance on Dancing with the Stars, accompanied by legendary R&B sensation Boyz-II-Men. Today, he awoke to the news that a fan is claiming he fathered her child — a claim Bieber and his lawyers are vigorously denying.

The claim is being made by a 20-year-old California woman named Mariah Yeater, who is filing a paternity suit against Bieber, Radar reports. Bieber's saying it's all false. "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims," Bieber's publicist said "We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."

Yeater says she had unprotected sex with Bieber a year ago in a backstage area at one of the singer's concerts and that her three-month-old baby, named Tristyn, is his. "In a hand-signed affidavit, sworn under the penalty of perjury, Yeater told a California court that Bieber propositioned her on October 25 of last year, when she was 19," Radar quotes Star Magazine as saying. "The pair had a sexual tryst after his concert and backstage at L.A.'s Staples Center, it's alleged in court papers." Bieber announced he was dating singer Selena Gomez in March.

On Bieber's Twitter page, the allegations were all but ignored. "I'm gonna focus on the positives … the music," he tweeted Wednesday. His Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, was released Tuesday.

I would be really surprised if the baby did end up being his.
