Justin Bieber Cuts His Famous Hair

Justin Bieber, 16, is done toying with his adoring fans. Since December, the pint-sized heartthrob has been threatening to cut his hair, first announcing his slasher intentions on Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010 special.

"I'm gonna cut it probably soon," he admitted those long two-and-a-half months ago, specifying that the cut would come soon "after [his] movie," Never Say Never, hit theaters on February 11.

The famous asymmetrical, long-banged look had been Bieber's signature 'do for three years when he finally decided to lop it off, tweeting on Monday night, "thinking about getting a haircut….hmmmmmm." Ever the performer, he kept people in suspense with a second tweet, just reading "hmmmm……" a few minutes later.

Finally the news was in and the act was official. Bieber confirmed, "Yeah so it's true…i got a lil haircut…i like it…and we are giving all the hair cut to charity to auction. Details coming soon." The reason? Bieber, pictured here with Rascal Flatt's bandmember Jay DeMarcus, apparently wanted to look the part for a Flatts' video. Thirteen-year-old girls everywhere are digging through their allowance. —KIMBERLY STEELE
