Justin Bieber called out 20-year-old Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, over an Observer Magazine cover that dubbed the singer, the “Prince of pop.”
Mendes posted an image of the cover on his Instagram and thanked the magazine in return.
Bieber took notice of Mendes’s cover and posted a comment calling him out.

“Hmm Gonna have to break a few more records to dethrone my title there bud (canadian voice)..but if you want we can play hockey for it, but I heard your a real bender on the ice, we could just drop the buckets and tilt for it,” wrote Bieber in the comments.
Mendes replied saying, “LOL any time any day you just let me know!!!!!!”
This alleged feud between the two pop-stars seems to be in jest, but fans have quickly taken sides and things are heating up online.
