It may seem an unlikely pairing, but teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, 17, and R&B singer Chris Brown, 22, announced their plans on Tuesday to shoot a music video for "Next 2 You," a track from Brown's F.A.M.E. album.

Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, confirmed the rumors on Twitter, posting, ""#Next2You w/ @justinbieber and @chrisbrown – video treatment is crazy…yeah it's coming!!"

This is not the first time the chart-toppers have collaborated. Brown contributed to a remix of the song "Up" for Bieber's Never Say Never: The Remixes album, and the fast friends performed "Look at Me Now" together onstage in Australia.

If Brown wants to keep working with the pint-sized star, however, he may want to watch his punctuality. Bieber was reportedly miffed at his older buddy when Brown stood him up for a studio recording. "I actually stood him up on accident," Brown told MTV News. "He was kind of mad …. I was all the way on the other side of town handling some business — 'girl business' — and I was rushing back, and by that time, he's like, 'Man, I'm leaving, bro. I did it — just check it out.' And I looked at it and listened to it and I was like, 'Man, this is crazy.' … He's a great kid." —KIMBERLY STEELE
