American husband and wife Justin and Stephanie Shults have been confirmed dead by their family members in Tuesday’s Brussels terrorist attacks.
Justin, 30, and his wife Stephanie, 29, were last seen dropping Stephanie’s mother off at the airport when the entire area was rocked by the two explosions. The married couple moved to Brussels back in 2014. Justin was from Tennessee while his wife was from Kentucky and both were accountants.
Family members took to Twitter to share their memories and grief. Levi Sutton, Justin’s bother tweeted, “Stephanie was always so happy. I really enjoyed any chance I got to be around her. The world lost two amazing people today. It’s not fair.”
He also tweeted, “The last thing my brother ever told me is that he loved me…. Go rest high on that mountain.”
Stephanie’s mom, Carolyn Moore, was ending a visit to see the couple in Belgium and was at the airport to fly home when the suitcase bombs detonated. She was not injured in the attacks.
