The new teaser for the sequel to Jurassic World dropped today, and showed a scared Chris Pratt running for his life.
The 15-second clip is packed with drama, and marks five days before the first full trailer is released for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. In it, Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their roles as raptor trainer Owen Grady and park operations manager Claire Dearing. They and Justice Smith are on the run from a group of running dinosaurs. A cliff explodes in the background.
Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chaplin, and Daniella Pineda will also star in the feature, but were not seen in the trailer.
In June, Universal Pictures unveiled the film’s first poster with the tagline, “Life Finds a Way.” This is of course a call-back to Jeff Goldblum‘s ominous line in the original Jurassic Park. Goldblum is set to reprise his role, mathematician Ian Malcolm, in the new film.
In Fallen Kingdom, Owen and Claire must work to stop a hybrid dino called Indominus rex from wreaking havoc on the park and its guests. Jurassic World grossed more than $1.67 billion worldwide, which is more than any of the three original films made individually.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to hit theaters on June 22, 2018.
