Julia Fox Says Kanye West Romance Has Hurt Her Acting Career

Julia Fox revealed that her six-week romance with Kanye West has hurt her acting career.

The Uncut Gems actress, 32, opened up about the changes brought by her short-lived but highly publicized relationship with Grammy-winning artist, 45, on Emily Ratajkowski‘s High Low with EmRata podcast on Tuesday.

“After the big relationship, I definitely noticed a shift in the acting way, not in a good way,” said Fox. “I’m not getting as many offers as I was before, weirdly. There’s been a lot of weird drawbacks with reaching that level of notoriety.”

However, she said she’s too busy to think about these things and is not willing to quit because of setbacks.

“I think things come to you at the right time, so that’s why I’m really not stressing. I really don’t care,” she said.

Fox and West broke up after about six weeks of dating in early 2022 and she said she is proud of herself for ending the relationship at the “first sign of a red flag.”

“It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it or energy,” she said. “I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that.”

West has been dropped by numerous companies after posting antisemitic rants on social media.
