Judd Apatow has recently taken aim at venues that still plan on hosting Bill Cosby’s standup performances after tens of women have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse.
Judd Apatow Slams Venues Hosting Bill Cosby
Apatow has been an outspoken critic of Cosby, the star of the erstwhile family TV program The Cosby Show, since myriad women came forward to accuse the comedian of sexually abusing them. As the number of accusers has grown, many have found it increasingly difficult to believe that Cosby is innocent. Despite the horrifying claims, Cosby has continued his comedy tour.
Cosby’s tour includes a trio of upcoming stops in Canada. Apatow tweeted at Ontario’s Centre in the Square and Budweiser Gardens to confront them about moving forward with their plans to host the embattled comedian.
so @Centre_Square – are you really going to let Bill Cosby perform on your stage January 7?

You too @BudGardens Jan 8? Is Cosby only popular in Ontario Canada at this point? Do people still find him delightful after 30 accusers? — Judd Apatow (@JuddApatow) December 27, 2014
Apatow also posted on his Twitter timeline about how those who still stand behind Cosby are in the minority.
I think one in a Hundred thousand people support Cosby. I am gonna stop responding to them so often. It is just maddening though. So cold.
