Jon Voight Says ‘Obama Does Not Love Israel’ In Video Rant

Jon Voight, the Academy Award-winning actor who has long been an outspoken republican, took President Barack Obama to task in a video message in which he questions the president’s allegiance to Israel.

Jon Voight Slams Obama

In the video, Voight professes his own love for Israel, while raising suspicions about Obama’s dedication to America’s longtime ally because of his desire to broker a deal with Iran at the end of the countries’ nuclear talks.

“I love Israel. I want to see Israel survive and not be overtaken by the madmen of this world,” Mr. Voight said in a video released to the Just Jared celebrity news website. “President Obama does not love Israel. His whole agenda is to control Israel. And this way he can be friends with all ofIsrael’s enemies. He doesn’t want [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu to win this upcoming election.”

“America has not been the same since [Mr. Obama’s] presidency. I beg all of you to understand the truth,” said Voight before he drew parallels to the WWII and the Holocaust. “Those like Yitzhak Herzog who believe that dealmaking is the solution to what Israel faces are as wrong as Neville Chamberlain believing he made a peace deal with Hitler. We must learn from history where the true danger lies.”

Voight, the father of actress Angelina Jolie, last spoke out against Obama and his administration back in November.

“He wants to legalize all the illegal Mexicans, and every other illegal immigrant from other countries as well. Why? For their vote, for the 2016 election, for the Democrats,” he told the Washington Times. “It will make no difference on the billions of dollars it will cost the American tax payers. It made no difference on the latest illegals he let come across the borders a few months ago. Children – unaccompanied by their parents, carrying all kind of illnesses – assimilating them into our society and our schools.”
