Jon Stewart At A Loss For Words After Mike Huckabee’s Comments On Iran Deal

Jon Stewart always has something to say on The Daily Show, especially when concerns the topic of politics. But, on Monday night, when it came to a recent statement from presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, the host found no need to use words.

Stewart remained speechless during his Huckabee segment on The Daily Show, opting to express his opinions to the audience by using gestures and strange noises.

Stewart showed the news reports on Obama’s Iran deal and quickly played the recording of Huckabee’s comments on the deal.

“This president’s foreign policy is the most feckless in American history. He’s so naive, he would trust the Iranians and he would take the Israelis and basically march them to the door of the oven,” Huckabee said in a radio interview following the announcement of Obama’s agreement with the Iranians.

The audience shouted out a bunch of “ooohs,” while Stewart responded to Huckabee’s controversial statements with only a blank stare, as the word “urghhhhh” flashed on the screen.

Stewart decided to act out his thoughts, by hilariously mimicking the movement of his beating heart and throwing his hands in the air with loud shrieks.

The Daily Show host then showed the audience various interviews and statements from figures who found Huckabee’s comments offensive. Once again, to express his agreement, Stewart only enthusiastically nodded his head and made a few grunt sounds.

Stewart also took the opportunity to throw out his middle finger — in reply to Huckabee’s recent comments about the transgendered — he recently said he would have pretended he was a female so he could shower with girls in high school.

At the end of the show, Stewart explained that it’s been a running joke at the show that he could do the whole Huckabee segment without saying a word, so they figured why not.
