Jon Rudnitsky Joins ‘SNL’ Cast

The 41st season of Saturday Night Live welcomes Jon Rudnitsky as their newest cast member.

JON RUDNITSKY JOINS ‘SNL’

Rudnitsky, 25, won the Laugh Factory’s Laugh Bowl College Comedy Competition in 2012. At the time he was in his senior year at USC’s BFA Acting Conservatory.

In 2014 Rudnitsky performed an Oscars parody of True Detective where he did a magnificent impression of Matthew McConaughey, which no doubt impressed SNL producers. Rudnitsky has done several other parodies, including one of the trailer for Straight Outta Compton where Sugar Ray are the up-and-coming artists, and one of the Hunger Games trailer, renamed The Jewish Hunger Games: Kvetching Fire.

SNL‘s 41st season premieres on Oct. 3 with Miley Cyrus hosting for a third time.
