Jon Hamm looked dapper on the set of Mad Men’s seventh season while filming in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Dressed in a well-tailored brown suit, Hamm stood outside an L.A. hotel refaced to look like New York City’s famed Hotel Algonquin. Wearing Don Draper’s signature fedora, Hamm puffed on a prop cigarette before entering a cab with two men who appeared to be business associates.
A video from Monday’s day on the Mad Men set shows Draper standing on the curb while cars from the 1960s drive down the shutdown downtown L.A. street. Extras dressed in period costumes can also be seen strolling past the converted Hilton Checkers Hotel.
Mad Men’s final season – similarly to AMC’s Breaking Bad – will be split into two parts. Part one will premiere April 13 at 10/9c. Fans of the show will have to wait until spring 2015 for the premiere of part two of Mad Men’s final season.
