While Wandavision had many nods to 70-years worth of sitcom history, only one show had a direct connection to its star Elizabeth Olsen.
While Olsen never had a role on Full House, she spent a lot of time on set as a child visiting her older sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who both shared the role of Michelle Tanner. “There was something very meta for my own life [working on Wandavision] because I would visit those tapings as a kid, where my sisters were working [on Full House],” the young Olsen recently told EW.
John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on the ’90s sitcom, recently posted a throwback picture with Olsen in honor of the final episode of Wandavision coming out on Disney+.
“One day she’s a little girl wandering the set and the next thing you know, she’s taking over a whole town, mindcontrolling the citizens to play out her favorite TV sitcoms!” Stamos wrote. “They grow up so fast… Wanda had a vision we’d both be on @disneyplus Check out #BigShot coming in April and @wandavision tonight!”
