From May to August, EGOT-winning singer-songwriter John Legend will captivate audiences across North America with his tour, An Evening With John Legend.

Legend’s illustrious career has been adorned with accolades, which include twelve Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award and two Emmy Awards, among others. His remarkable journey began at a young age when he won an essay competition at 15, in which he expressed his aspiration to become a star recording artist and make a positive impact on his community.

Deeply committed to social causes, Legend founded The Show Me Campaign in 2007 to provide every child with quality education and address systemic issues in the criminal justice system that disproportionately affect underprivileged individuals and minorities. Additionally, Legend launched LRNG Innovators in collaboration with The National Writing Project and with support from The MacArthur Foundation. This program empowers teachers to redesign the learning experience and connect students’ passions with their purpose.

Continuing his commitment to creating positive change, Legend established HUMANLEVEL in 2020. This organization assists local governments in addressing racial inequalities across various indicators of success, such as health, criminal justice, education, employment, and housing.
