John Gotti III Suspended For Six Months After Brawl With Floyd Mayweather
John Gotti III , 30, was suspended from boxing in Florida for six months after a brawl with legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather, 46, on Sunday night.
A Florida State Athletic Commission spokesperson said that the decision was made on the same night as the fight.
After their match on Sunday, Gotti went up to Mayweather and attempted to throw punches at him, which led the 46-year-old to fight back.
Mayweather was seemingly toying with his opponent for the first five rounds as the altercation began within a minute of the sixth round.
Although it’s been reported that the two boxers “ended up hashing things out,” Gotti’s family took their fight even further.
Gotti’s sister, Nicolette Gotti, threatened to attack Mayweather’s daughter on her Instagram story.
“@floydmayweather your daughter was ran through by a animal with 12 different baby mamas – your little circus animal – your all a pack of zoo animals,” she wrote. “I swear on my kids I’m coming for your daughter it may be 2 years 3 years from now but I’m coming c—,” she wrote.
That wasn’t the only fight that happened at the Florida arena, however, reality star Joseline Hernandez and rapper Big Lex also took swings at each other behind the stadium.
