The WWE WrestleMania weekend kicked off with the highly anticipated title match between John Cena and WWE US champion Austin Theory on Saturday.
Cena had initially declined Theory’s challenge because he thought the 25-year-old titleholder did not deserve a WrestleMania match. But after being repeatedly insulted and pressed, Cena finally agreed to the match.

The 45-year-old WWE icon made an emotional entrance as he joined several children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where he holds the record for most wishes granted. After excitedly celebrating with the kids and giving them all high-fives, Cena made his way to the ring.
Although Cena gained an early advantage, Theory eventually defeated his childhood idol, retaining the U.S. Champion title and belt.
