John Brown, an anchor for local Florida morning show Good Day Orlando, has had enough of covering the Kardashian family.

Kylie Jenner Story Leads Anchor John Brown To Rant

As soon as Brown heard an introduction for a story about Kylie Jenner, he got off the couch, leaving his co-host Amy Kaufeldt by herself. “I’m having a good Friday, so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians,” he explained. “I’ve had enough of the Kardashians.”

“You are on your own, Amy. I can’t do it,” Brown said off camera. “I’ve had enough Kardashians! I can’t take any more Kardashian stories on this show!”

The on-air correspondent Jenny Castillo, unaware that Brown had vacated the set, tried to engage him in the story about Jenner naming her pet Bruce, asking, “How would you like it if your daughter named her pet John? That’s exactly what Kylie Jenner did.”

Brown was having none of it, telling Castillo, “I don’t care about this family. I’m sick of this family. It’s a nonstory! Nobody cares about this family anymore!”

Both Kaufeldt and Castillo seemed shocked by Brown’s antics, but at least Kaufeldt was in on the ruse. “We were just having a little fun. We like to have a little fun in our 9 o’clock hour,” Kaufeldt told The New Junkie earlier this week.

As for Brown, he addressed the viral rant on Facebook, writing, “Sorry, I lost my mind a bit, although it was partially in jest! I did feel better though after I was done.”
