Joey Feek, Half Of Country Duo Joey And Rory, Stops Cancer Treatment

Joey Feek stopped her cancer treatment after they found that surgery and chemotherapy had not helped stop the tumors from continuing to spread.

JOEY FEEK STOPS CANCER TREATMENT

Earlier this year, Joey underwent surgery in order to treat her cervical cancer which had already been treated with chemotherapy and radiation without success.

Joey’s husband Rory Feek stated in a blog post that new tumors continue to emerge despite all treatments. In light of this Joey has ceased all further treatments and has returned home to spend time with her family.

Joey and Rory won an award for top new vocal duo from the Academy of Country Music in 2010.
