Joe Rogan Says ‘Wokesters’ On Kamala Harris’ Campaigns Blocked Her From Doing His Podcast

In a Tuesday episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan was determined to give his side of the story after reports alleged that he had misled Kamala Harris’ campaign team about the opportunity of appearing on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.

In the book Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, written by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, Harris’ insiders detail their frustration in trying to arrange an appearance on the podcast.

According to Allen and Parnes, Harris’ campaign team had gotten so far along in the booking process with Rogan that they had scheduled a nearby event in Houston with Beyoncé that would coincide with the interview. However, Rogan allegedly informed the team at the last minute that the date was no longer available. He proceeded to interview Donald Trump that same day.

Rogan declared, “This whole idea that we f—ed her over and we f—ed her over for Trump – incorrect, just not true… one of the things they said that wasn’t true was that we lied about the day Trump was coming on. We just didn’t tell them because they hadn’t committed to doing the show.”

Rogan stated that booking Trump had been a much more enjoyable experience, saying, “Trump was super easy. We offered one day. He said, ‘Yes.’ That was it… there was no back-and-forth, no stipulations, no edits – just a straightforward booking. Harris’ team, on the other hand, never fully committed.”

He insisted, “They said that the reason why they did the Beyoncé event in Houston was so that they could be in Texas to do my show. None of that’s true. These people didn’t have a date. They never agreed to do the show.” He further declared that he had initially planned to air both interviews of Harris and Trump on the same day, “But no one ever committed to doing it…they keep pretending that I lied.”

Harris’ team allegedly asked that staff members and a stenographer be present for the interview, while Trump had no such requests. Rogan noted of Trump’s presentation during the interview, “It was very controlled, and they were really concerned about the podcast not being edited.”

Rogan said the reason for Harris’ flaky behavior was internal conflict among her campaign team. “There were some people on her staff who were against her doing it,” he said. “They thought it was bad optics because they’re a bunch of wokesters.”

Rogan further claimed that he believes Harris must regret the decision not to commit, as Trump’s interview got 50 million views.

Rogan also noted that Parnes and Allen never reached out to him for his side of the interaction. “They supposedly talked to 150 people about this, but they didn’t talk to us,” he said.

“We have all the receipts, by the way. Of course, I have a whole list of conversations that took place,” he said. “I think it’s someone trying to cover their ass for the fact that she never did it, and if she did do it, it might have had a positive effect.”
