Jonas Brothers alum Joe Jonas and his girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler have decided to break up after nearly two years of dating.

Jonas, 24, and graphic designer Eggenschwiler, 30, have split on amicable terms, according to the former boybander's rep. “Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways,” the rep confirmed to Us Weekly. "The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another."

Jonas and Eggenschwiler were first linked in November 2012 after they were introduced through a mutual friend. The last public event they appeared at together was the Cadillac & Refinery29 party that took place on June 19 in Hollywood. At the fete, it was reported that the couple appeared to be on tense terms. "He posed for photos by himself and then stormed inside," an eye-witness told Us at the time.

Back in May, Jonas was effusive with his praise for the Swiss-born Eggenschwiler, with whom he felt he had a healthy relationship. "I'm with someone I really care about," he told New York Magazine in the same interview he revealed he became sexually active at age 20. "We get each other."

Jonas has previously dated Camilla Belle, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato.
