Joanna Gaines Addresses The Rumors That She’s Leaving ‘Fixer Upper’

Joanna Gaines addresses rumors that she’s leaving HGTV hit show Fixer Upper.

Gaines and her husband Chip Gaines co-host the home makeover show, but word has been spreading that Joanna won’t be returning. She responded with this simple message – “Don’t believe everything you read.”

The star set the record straight on her blog, saying she wasn’t going anywhere soon.

“So many things are happening right now and it feels like we are moving at the speed of light. At times, it’s even hard to keep our own parents in the loop,” she explained. “At this point in our career we can honestly say, we’ve heard it all — from reports of us moving our family to Vegas to us having more or less children than we actually have. At the end of the day, we’ve learned it’s impossible to control all the information that’s out there.”

So it appears she has put the rumors to rest. “Always remember,” she advised, “if you’re reading big, exciting news about us, and we did not confirm it on our official sites, then proceed with caution.”

She wrapped up her post by confirming a different rumor, and disproving a couple others. “And just in case you were wondering, YES! We are currently filming Season 5 of the show,” she said. “No! I am not getting into the business of facial creams. And No! We are not expecting baby #5. And no worries, believing some of these stories happens to the best of us.”
