NEW YORK, NY - MARCH 27: Host of NBC's 'The Tonight Show', Jimmy Fallon (Back R) joins Madame Tussauds to debut five unique, brand new, never before seen wax figures of the television host at Madame Tussauds New York on March 27, 2015 in New York City. Jimmy Fallon celebrated the holidays a little early by orchestrating a sing-a-long with the cast of Sing.
The Tonight Show band The Roots joined Paul McCartney, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Seth McFarlane, Matthew McConaughey and Tori Kelly in an a capella rendition of “Wonderful Christmas Time.” The actors’ animated characters from the musical movie appeared in the video as well.
The video begins with Fallon and the Roots, before being joined by the Sing cast, which then turn into the animated animals. McCartney jumps in in the middle. The result is a colorful and fun Christmas performance.
James Corden did something similar recently, in which he incorporated holiday cheer into his usual Carpool Karaoke routine. He drove with Mariah Carey and sang her ever famous “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” before he intercut scenes of past segments with celebs singing the same song.
