Jessie James Decker Shares Her Struggles With Chronic Pain

Jessie James Decker sought out advice from her fans about how to deal with chronic, debilitating pain. The singer shared a photo on Instagram explaining that she pinched a nerve in her back and has been dealing with a lot of pain recently.

“It feels like my back and bones and muscles are all in a fight. this time it was so unbearable I had to get a shot in my back from the Dr and was given meds. It is shooting pains up and down the left side of my back I cannot turn my head without wanting to cry,” she captioned the post.

Decker said she goes to therapy weekly but still feels like she needs to see a specialist. She said she gets migraines all the time and thinks the pain is all connected.

“My mama has the same issues so it is hereditary. I’m hoping it gets better and I can find some sort of solution because when this happens… I’m just out and feel useless and helpless. Is there anyone that has the same issue? Please give me any sort of remedy you suggest I’m open to anything and everything,” she wrote.

Decker received comments from followers with suggestions for pain relief and ways to deal with chronic pain. Jamie Lynn Spears and Lo Bosworth, both commented with Bosworth suggesting that Decker look at her eating habits.

“I wonder if there is something inflammatory in your diet that’s always been there but you don’t know what it is,” said Bosworth.

Spears added, “Yesss- try needling or acupuncture and getting a hip adjustment.”

Decker, who shares a daughter and two sons with her husband Eric Decker, has previously been open about her fitness and the health issues she and her children have faced. Her youngest son, Forrest, has been in and out of the hospital for various reasons this year.

“Every time he gets a tiny cold he starts wheezing and his oxygen levels drop and heart rate goes up,” Jessie wrote on Instagram at the time. “Ultimately I’m being told he has Asthma even though he’s pretty young to diagnose. They gave him stronger meds and treatments and watched him through the night. Going to see an allergist to see if maybe something is triggering the attacks. So confusing for a parent to have this issue and just not know what to do or why it’s happening.”
