Jessica Lowndes And Jon Lovitz Relationship Was April Fool’s Joke, Promo For Music Video

Jessica Lowndes and Jon Lovitz made headlines recently for being the latest surprising May-December romance in Hollywood – but it was all a hoax.

Lowndes, 27, and Lovitz, 58, are not actually dating one another. The Instagram snaps and Twitter posts were all a big April Fool’s joke to promote Lowndes music video for her “Deja Vu” remix, which actually does star Lovtiz as her love interest.

“I know it’s the last week of March but is it too early to say April Fools?” Lowndes said in an Instagram video.

In a statement, she added, “I love a good prank so happy early April Fools. Jon and I met in Hawaii last year when we worked together on Hawaii Five-0. I fell in love with his humor and comedy so when I was looking for someone to be a part of my ‘Déjà Vu’ remix, which is a nod to the 80s Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and 90s Pop Up Video, he was the first person to come to mind.”

Leading up to the video drop, Lowndes and Lovitz had been using social media to fuel rumors about their relationship.

“You say sugar daddy but I say ice cream daddy!” Lowndes captioned a picture of twin desserts. “Lol ??? #SweptoffMyFeet #ExtraSprinklesPleaseDaddy?”
