Netflix has released the official trailer for season 2 of Marvel’s Jessica Jones. Its streaming date is set for March 8.

The trailer focuses on Jones (Krysten Ritter) dealing with traumatic flashbacks and coping with her life as a hero. She has a lot of questions and is now demanding answers. “I have 17 years of questions and they are deep,” Jones says. She goes on a search for these answers in what seems to be abandoned areas questioning a woman who seems to hold some answers to Jones’s past. She’s determined to find the answers that she’s looking for. “The only way to find it is to open the door wider,” she says.

Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) appears in the trailer as a long-awaited sidekick. She’s encouraging Jones to continue her search for answers. “Just knowing what was done to you might help,” Walker says.

The second season is directed only by women. The preview reflects a very strong female essence with Jones calling out a new character’s choice of words for being “rapey” and again when he tries to tell her who and what she is.

In the final scene of the trailer, hands are shown clapping at Jones and her face shows a look of complete disgust. It could be Kilgrave (David Tennant) back from the dead or a missing piece to her life’s puzzle?
