‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Reuniting For A Special On E! Network

The cast of the Jersey Shore is reuniting for a special on E! Network, to air Aug. 20.

Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore will bring the gang back together for the first time in five years. Snooki, JWoww, DJ Pauly D, Mike the Situation, and Sammi Sweetheart are all on board for the fun ride.

In the docuseries, the group will rehash the old days while making literal pitstops at their old stomping grounds.  They’ll catch each other up on what they’ve been up to for the past five years, and E! will even air some previously unseen footage from the hit MTV reality show.

Rumors of the reunion began swirling when the crew was spotted filming at Point Pleasant beach this month. Then Snooki too to social media to post a picture of the Jersey Shore ladies having dinner together.

The Jersey Shore reunion episode will act as a pilot episode, but the total number of episodes for the Road Trip has not been announced. Producers are said to be working on both scripted and unscripted shows, in case the series gets picked up past its pilot.
