Rapper Jeremih was kicked off PartyNextDoor‘s Summer’s Over Tour based on comments made during performances, as well as some bizarre actions.
The decision to pull Jeremih came after there was alleged in-fighting between the acts, rumors saying Jeremih wanted to be more of a headliner rather than an opener. In Dallas, fans report that the rapper said, “PartyNextDoor and his crew are some b—-h ass n—-s,” before he told the audience to “tell him to pay that fake-ass budget they’ve been pressing at night.”
At a stop in Houston, fans alleged that Jeremih sent a double to perform in his place.
Jeremih has yet to comment on the decision, but has expressed frustration on his Twitter page.
He also sent a mixed message about his relationship with PartyNextDoor, as he retweeted a complimentary note from him.
LiveNation, which is in charge of the Summer’s Over Tour, has issued a full refund to ticketholders who are dissatisfied with Jeremih being taken off the setlist. See their full statement below:
“Live Nation’s top priority is helping artists and performers create great shows for their fans. With this in mind, we’ve decided it’s best for the Summer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective immediately. After multiple incidents we are left with no other choice. We do not support these actions or take these actions lightly. Ticketholders may request a full refund at point of purchase, which will forfeit access to the entire show. No partial refunds will be issued.”
