Jennifer Lopez Says She Sometimes Feels ‘Chunky’

On The View this Thursday, a guest co-host said to Jennifer Lopez what we all are thinking whenever we look at her. “I gotta tell you,” said the co-host, “your body isn’t fair.”

Lopez, to everyone’s dismay, responded, “I was a little bit on the chunky side there, as you can see,” referring to this gorgeous shot:

In response, a shocked Raven-Symone jokingly threw up her hands and walked away from her chair.

“Do you need us to show you what chunky looks like?” Whoopi Goldberg asked.

Lopez laughed, noting that her photos are deceiving. Her body doesn’t always look as fit and ripped as it does in the photos she posts on her Instagram.

“I fluctuate!” she assured them. “I go up and down about 7 to 8 pounds all the time, you know what I mean?” She continued, “When I’m doing a show, I go down, I get slim, and then when I stop, I’m eating, and I get chunky. Not chunky, but you feel it, for a dancer.”

Now although Lopez feels “chunky” sometimes, she also recently told People, that she has been learning how to embrace her previous insecurities.

“I’m flawed,” said Lopez, “I actually love that part now… I used to hate it because I’m such a perfectionist.”
