Jennifer Lopez reportedly never cared for the Beverly Hills estate that she shared with her ex Ben Affleck.

The mansion, bought in 2022 for the whopping price of $68 million, was reportedly a compromise for Lopez, as the design was too contemporary and not her style.

The mansion spans 38,000 square feet and has 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a gym, a pickleball court, office space and two private entrances.

Oddly, Affleck reportedly never liked the house much either as it was too far away from his kids when they were staying with their mother in Brentwood. Still, Affleck and Lopez took out a $20 million mortgage to buy the house.

Affleck has three children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with actress Jennifer Garner, whom he was married to between the years of 2005 and 2018. Lopez has two children of her own, 16-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Affleck recently purchased a new house for himself for the comparably modest price of $20.5 million.

Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, were married in July of 2022 without a prenup and there are reportedly some financial sticking points for the couple when dividing their income over the last two years. On top of their pricey mansion, they’ve each made millions from appearances in movies and endorsements, along with the money brought in from Affleck’s production company and Lopez’s multiple brands.

Lopez filed for divorce on the second anniversary of their wedding, citing “irreconcilable differences,” and listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024. She also filed to drop Affleck’s last name, as she had technically officially changed her name to Jennifer Lynn Affleck in 2022.

Lopez and Affleck first met in 2002 on the set of the film Gigli. They were engaged that year, but the wedding was postponed, and the couple split two years later in January 2004. They remained friendly after the break-up and rekindled their relationship in 2021.
