Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram message to her fans, expressing a range of emotions. On Wednesday, she shared photos of herself in blue pajamas and a “Happy Birthday” headband, surrounded by flowers and a birthday cake.

Lopez began by thanking her fans for their birthday wishes from around the world. “I’ve seen all your beautiful messages and videos,” she wrote. “I’ve laughed, smiled, and even cried. I truly have the best fans ever. I can’t express how blessed I feel to have you all in my life.”

Reflecting on her journey, the Hustlers star mentioned that she still feels like the same energetic girl who started her career years ago. “It’s hard to believe how much time we’ve spent together,” she continued. “I still feel like that young girl, full of energy and ready to take on the world, even though I sometimes feel fragile and scared inside.”

Lopez also talked about how important her fans are to her, calling them her “biggest gift” besides her family and friends. She has 16-year-old twins with her ex-husband Marc Anthony and is a stepmom to her husband Ben Affleck’s three children. “You’ve been with me through good and tough times,” she added. “I can always count on you, and I want you to know you can always count on me. However, Lopez’s birthday was notable for her husband’s absence. Affleck did not attend her Bridgerton-themed party, adding to ongoing rumors that their marriage might be in trouble. These rumors began in early May when Lopez attended the 2024 Met Gala alone, and reports soon followed that Affleck was staying in a separate house.

Throughout the summer, the couple has spent a lot of time apart. Lopez went on a trip to Italy while Affleck stayed in Los Angeles. They were in different places for both the Fourth of July and their second wedding anniversary on July 16. Additionally, they have listed their $68 million Beverly Hills mansion for sale, with reports that Affleck has already moved his belongings out.

Lopez has not commented on the split rumors, but she did cancel her world tour that was scheduled to run from June to August.
