Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly not speaking to each other, confirming rumors of an imminent divorce that have been circulating over the past few months.
Lopez and Affleck no longer speak to each other in person or over the phone, which is slowing down the divorce process.
Neither party has hired divorce lawyers are instead leaving the details to their business managers. Pursuant to the couple’s prenuptial agreement, the only asset left to divide is their $68 million Beverly Hills home, which they purchased in 2023.
They began selling artwork from the home in early July, signaling plans for a change.
Last week, it was reported that Affleck closed escrow on his $20.5 million mansion in Los Angeles, the same day Lopez finalized the sale of her New York City condo.
Lopez and Affleck’s marriage has been turbulent for quite some time now, as they have been living on separate coasts all summer and have not been photographed together in months.
In July, Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday with a Bridgerton-themed party, though Affleck was nowhere to be found. The singer abandoned her national concert tour due to low tickets claiming that she wanted to “spend more time with her family.”
