Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez turned heads at the 2019 Met Gala!

On Monday evening, the newly-engaged couple stepped out hand-in-hand as they attended the annual fashion event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This proved to be an extra exciting night for the couple, who were on the committee for this year’s Met Gala, which was themed “Camp: Notes on Fashion.”

To channel her “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” Lopez wore a glitzy, silver, beaded, plunging dress with a thigh-high slit from Versace and paired it with a flapper-style cap. And to take her look to the next level, the “Medicine” singer accessorized with a Harry Winston necklace that featured a 129.48-carat purple sapphire. 

As for Rodriguez’ look, he followed suit and complimented his leading lady by wearing a lilac tuxedo jacket that matched her frosty eyeshadow, beaded skirt and pendant. The former MLB pro also accessorized his look with a Harry Winston 18-carat white gold timepiece and diamond shirt studs.

Before arriving at the gala, which is held on the first Monday of every May in New York City, Lopez took to Instagram to share a photo of the couple en route to the star-studded event.

“Met Ball 2019 here we come…,” she captioned a photo of the duo posing for the camera.

The Met Gala is a special event for Lopez and Rodriguez, who made their first official red carpet debut at the event back in May 2017.

At the time, Lopez posted a series of photos on Instagram, showing the pair enjoying themselves at the gala. The couple then returned to the 2018 Met Gala the following year and also turned heads in their Balmain looks, and this year the engaged couple returned to do it all over again!
