Reality TV fan Jennifer Lawrence has called Erika Jayne “evil.”
The Hunger Games star, 32, chatted about her opinion on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ latest season and the housewife Jayne in particular.
“My biggest problem with this season is that it’s just been boring and I think that Erika is evil,” she told Variety. “I would go as far as to say, she needs a publicist ASAP.”
The Oscar-winning actress also suggested that Jayne’s fellow cast members should help her realize how badly she is coming across. Jayne’s publicist declined to comment on Lawrence’s words, and Jayne has not taken to social media to respond.
Jayne has been at the center of controversies involving her ex-husband, Tom Girardi.
One month after they divorced after 21 years of marriage in November 2020, Girardi, 83, and Jayne were accused of stealing $2 million in settlement funds from the families of the Lion Air Flight 610 victims.
In January 2022, cases against Jayne for fraud and misappropriation were dismissed in Illinois. But she was caught in social media storm recently when it was suggested that she could pay off the victims with a pair of $1.3 million earrings that Girardi gave her.
In May, Jayne said that she has empathy for victims. But later when she was accused by one of the Housewives of not caring about the victims, she agreed. “Why am I showing compassion for people who are dodging me for something I didn’t even do?” said Jayne. “Honey, I’m a wife that has been left in ruin.”
