Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder And More To Perform At Aretha Franklin’s Funeral On August 31
The funeral will be held on Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. EST at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit. There will be a public viewing for fans on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Franklin, nicknamed the “Queen of Soul,” died of pancreatic cancer on Thursday at age 76.
Hudson is set to play Franklin in an upcoming biopic film.
Other singers who will perform at the funeral include Faith Hill, Chaka Khan and the Clark Sisters. Franklin collaborated with many of these artists.

Music producer Clive Davis is planning a tribute concert to pay homage to Franklin at New York’s Madison Square Garden in November.
On Thursday, U.S. Sens. Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow honored the late soul legend by passing a resolution.
