Jennifer Aniston's New Haircut: Stylist Chris McMillan Loves It

Jennifer Aniston recently decided it was time to get a new haircut and opted to chop several inches off her long locks for a sleek new 'do.

Aniston enlisted her longtime friend and hairstylist Chris McMillan to give her the updated look, which was inspired during some channel surfing. “I was flipping through the television channels and I paused it to take a picture and I sent it to Chris, and he said, 'That’s [stylist] Lawren Howell from Vogue!'” Anniston told Vogue magazine. “And then he said, 'I just cut that!' So that’s it. He went way shorter than hers, but she was the inspiration."

McMillan posted a picture of himself with Aniston and her new haircut to Instagram (above) with the caption, “LOVE!! #JenniferAniston #bobhaircut @LivingProofInc #Flex #PerfectHairDay #LivingProof #ChrisMcMillan #newdo.”

Ever since the legendary “Rachel” haircut, Aniston’s hair has been a major preoccupation for both casual and avid fans of the actress. As of yet, the former Friends star isn’t sure if her latest haircut will last long – but she’s happy she did it.

"I don’t know, man. I did it! I feel great," Anniston said. "I feel lighter. It’s simple, it’s really simple, that’s for sure. But I’m always one of those girls who does a big old chop just to get it really healthy, to repair all the [damage from] hair coloring and stuff like that."

"And I just got bored, honestly," she added. "It’s fun to change it up once in awhile."
