Jennifer Aniston Brings Back Iconic ‘Rachel’ Haircut For The Golden Globes

Jennifer Aniston decided to rock a throwback look at the 81st Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

The actress featured a haircut similar to her iconic character Rachel on Friends while on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Aniston was wearing a black strapless dress made by Dolce and Gabbana.  

She was not nominated for any awards last night, but she was there to support the hit Apple TV series The Morning Show, which was nominated for Best Television Series – Drama, and Best Supporting Actor for Billy Crudup.

Despite the lack of kudos this year, Aniston has been nominated for the award five times, winning one in 2003 for Friends.

The appearance marks her first red carpet sighting since the death of Friends costar Matthew Perry, who died of “acute effects of ketamine.”

Aniston, along with the rest of the Friends cast, attended Perry’s funeral service.

She later took to Instagram to mourn her loss.

“Oh boy this one has cut deep… Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an insane wave of emotions that I’ve never experienced before,” she said. “We all experience loss at some point in our lives. Loss of life or loss of love. Being able to really SIT in this grief allows you to feel the moments of joy and gratitude for having loved someone that deep.”
