Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux reportedly married one another on the grounds of their home in Bel Air, Calif., Wednesday evening.
Aniston, 46, and Theroux, 43, tied the knot in front of 70 family members and close friends, according to People. “Guests were told it was a birthday party for Justin,” a source told the magazine. “Jen and Justin wanted to surprise guests and guests were certainly surprised.”
The now-married pair set up their property for the wedding with a massive wooden deck with table seating, lounge chairs and ottomans. Their pool was covered up to allow for more partying space, including a bar and a raised stage.
Among the guests at the star-studded fete were Aniston’s Friends costar Lisa Kudrow, Howard Stern, Sia, Chelsea Handler, Jennifer Meyer, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Ellen DeGeneres, Lake Bell, Scott Campbell and Terry Richardson, Us Weekly reported.
Though Aniston and Theroux have yet to comment on their wedding, party staffers were pictured carrying in a bride and groom puppet cake topper in one of the photographs obtained by TMZ. A pastor was also photographed entering the pair’s property.
Aniston and Theroux have been engaged since August 2012, roughly a year and a half after they started dating. The two had met each other back in 2008 on the set of Tropic Thunder, but didn’t embark on a romantic relationship until after starring opposite one another in Wanderlust.
This is the second marriage for Aniston, who divorced her first husband Brad Pitt in 2005 after five years together. This is the first marriage for Theroux.
