Jennie Garth On 'Rebirth' Of Losing 30 Lbs.

Jennie Garth, 40, who became a household name more than 20 years ago playing Kelly Taylor on the iconic Beverly Hills, 90210, didn't sit around and mope when her marriage of 11 years to Twilight's Peter Facinelli, 38, ended; she decided to turn her life around altogether.

This year, Garth told People, "has been a bit of a rebirth for me as a person by shedding that negative space and all the pain associated with that time." After her split from Facinelli, with whom she has three daughters — Luca Bella, Lola Ray and Fiona Eve — there were a lot of "ups and downs" for Garth. But she used the split as an opportunity to "focus on taking better care of myself," part of which included losing "30 lbs. of dead weight."

She also took some time to focus on upcoming career moves, beginning by reuniting with old costars Luke Perry, 45, and Jason Priestley, 43, in an Old Navy commercial. "We want to work together again because we really love each other and it would be nice to spend some time together working," Garth said of the newly rekindled partnership," she recently told Us Weekly of Perry.

"It definitely feels like a great time in my life," Garth told People. "I'm thankful to be alive."
