Jenni Rivera, the Mexican-American singer who died last December in a plane crash, will appear in epiodes of her reality show I Love Jenni that were taped before her tragic death.
The first episode of I Love Jenni will air on Sunday at 9 p.m. on mun2. One of the scenes will show the late singer co-hosting her radio show, Contacto Directo Con Jenni Rivera, with her sister, Rosie, reported People.
“We also see Jenni as she prepares to attend a Latin radio awards ceremony – winning more than a few awards before heading home that night," read a statement from mun2. "Daughter Jacqui shares the episode as we see her unveiling her new apartment to her mother for the first time," the statement added. "Jacqui wants to show her mom how great she, her husband and daughter Jaylah are doing, and plans a dinner in the new apartment for Jenni. Jacqui calls on her family for help in planning this first big dinner as a newlywed."
After Rivera died in December, the series continued filming, capturing her family members as they grieved and attempted to move forward from the loss of their beloved daughter, sibling and mother.
Rivera, who sold over 25 million albums in her lifetime, had written a memoir entitled Unbreakable that will be published in July.
