Jenna Fischer Does Entire Interview Dressed In A Towel

After a last minute wardrobe malfunction, actress Jenna Fischer had to make due with just a towel and jeans for her interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

The former Office star walked on the stage with the towel wrapped around her chest and a burgundy dress in hand. To his surprise, Kimmel asked what happened, Fischer responded sarcastically and nonchalantly asked, “why do you ask?”

“I’m a Missouri girl,” Fischer said. “And the show must go on.”

Fischer then explained, slightly flustered, “I waited a little too long to get dressed, and then my zipper broke. And I panicked.”

However, she did admit that she did feel extremely comfortable in the towel rather than the dress,  “I’ve never been more comfortable,” she continued as she looked at her outfit. “I am mentally a little freaking out that I’m on a talk show in a towel, but I’m physically very comfortable.”

Kimmel then joked with her, saying that he felt like he ran into her at the spa.

 

Fischer was on the show to promote her new television series Splitting Up Together. The story follows the story of a couple going through a divorce, however, through the process their relationship strangely reignited by the experience. So they navigate through their evolving relationship with an open mind.

The first episode premiered on March 27 on ABC.
