Jenelle Evans was arrested Thursday is South Carolina after she allegedly assaulted the new girlfriend of her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith.
On. Aug. 20, Griffith went over to Evans’ home in Myrtle Beach, S.C., to collect his belongings before she moves to another residence. Instead of coming alone to the prearranged meeting, Griffith brought his new love. An altercation ensued and Evans allegedly threw a glass at the woman, according to Gossip Cop.
Cops were called to Evans’ house, where they arrested her. The reality TV star was then brought to a local jail and booked on an assault charge.
According to Evans’ rep, Griffith had intentionally provoked her. “When you get provoked, you attack back,” Evans’ rep told Gossip Cop.
Evans, a mother of two, is still in police custody, reports TMZ.
Evans was last booked back in May on domestic violence charges. She had turned herself in after an incident with Griffith in which she trashed his car and allegedly tried to choke and kick him down stairs following an argument over their son, Kaiser. The charges were eventually dropped.
In total, Evans has been arrested at least 9 times.
