Lauren Sanchez, 54, made waves with her revealing outfit during a recent stop at a California children’s bookstore while promoting her debut book, The Fly Who Flew to Space.

Sanchez, who is engaged to billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, shared a throwback clip of her visit to Godmothers Bookstore in Montecito. Her choice of attire — a burgundy see-through mesh turtleneck — sparked as much attention as the event itself.

Pairing the sheer top with maroon pants, a thin black belt and white sneakers, Sanchez gushed about the “magical” store and the experience of speaking about her children’s book. “I’m so excited, a little nervous, but I just wanted to give you a little view of what this bookstore is all about,” Sanchez said in the video posted Sunday morning.

During her stroll through the cozy shelves, Sanchez excitedly pointed out celebrity-authored books, including works by Friends star Jennifer Aniston and actress Eva Mendes.

“It’s like magic!” she exclaimed, encouraging viewers to explore the bookstore themselves.

The book, released on Sept. 10, was inspired by Sanchez’s personal struggles with dyslexia, a learning disability she was diagnosed with thanks to a caring community college professor, Lori. Sanchez reunited with Lori at a recent book signing, sharing the moment with her followers on Instagram. “She completely changed my world,” Sanchez said tearfully.

During a Good Morning America appearance, Sanchez recalled how Lori’s encouragement transformed her life: “I went from a 2.0-[GPA] student who was barely making it to a 3.8, got into USC, and became a journalist.”

Sanchez, who previously opened up about her son Evan’s dyslexia diagnosis, emphasized that the book aims to uplift children facing similar challenges. A portion of the book’s proceeds will benefit the International Dyslexia Association to help diagnose and support children at earlier stages.

While Sanchez’s heartwarming message resonated with many, her choice of fashion has also drawn attention in recent months. The businesswoman turned heads earlier this year when she donned a bold latex ensemble — complete with a whip and a diamond-encrusted “B” necklace — channeling Catwoman. The look was widely interpreted as a playful nod to her fiancé as the couple continues to make headlines ahead of their upcoming nuptials.

In June, social media was abuzz over the revealing gown Sanchez wore to a White House state dinner with Bezos.
